Companies, and people, make mistakes. We see that in our daily lives. When mistakes are made, there are three option: 1) admit, correct and move on; 2)double down an insist that no mistake was made; and 3)find a way to achieve your goal by substituting the orginial mistake for another.
Unfortunately, option 3 was chosen by the company I mentioned yesterday. In this case, they submitted an invoice that they claimed was not paid in September of 2024. This invoice was not on the invoices submitted yesterday or any other previous date. The invoice was for the same charges – just a different date. So I suppose it is back to the phones today. Oh joy!
