One of the ultimate annoyances is when we have to pay for mistakes made by others or, worst yet, those made by an automated system with no oversight. Without making it overly personal, in my case it is a medical billing issue – that is being billed for work not performed because it could not be. One guess on why it could not be – they lost/misplaced/incorrectly handled the sample then billed me for tests that were ordered but not performed. As a result, I now have to go back for replacement blood work, further inconveniencing me, and fully expect to receive another bill – which I will have to fight again.
Frankly, I should be billing them for wasting my time.
