I had lunch with a former colleague yesterday. As is often the case, at some point, the conversation turned to the question of “what I am up to” which is often shorthand “what are you doing to make money”. If the former question is difficult to encapsulate, the latter is somewhat bleak – as the answer is looking.
Thus it is time to rework my resume. I have never really been a successful resume writer and the rise of “AI” as a first pass filter has only made that more apparent. Distilling 30 years of involvement in the tech industry into two pages is, frankly, impossible. But the task for today is to try yet again. Wish me luck!
